Christmas Eve Edwin And A New Challenge At LHOSM

Good afternoon, Crafty blogger's.
I hope you are well?
Today see's the start of a new challenge at Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia and our challenge theme for the next fortnight is Use A Die Cut.
This has to be my favourite theme as you probably know by now that I never make a card without using a die cut or few.
We have a new sponsor for this challenge Jules House Of Ribbons

I have made a Christmas card. This is my fifth one of 2015.
I used Christmas Eve Edwin from the Winter Wonderland 2013 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out freehand then matted onto a Joy Crafts Noor! oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.

For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are La - La - Land heart doily border, Noor Christmas ice crystal border, Marianne Design Ivy circle, clock and Christmas tree 1, Joy Crafts Billes flourishes and Magnolia Doohickey lovely fence.
I inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
The pretty lace across the bottom of the card is from Ebay.

A couple of close up's.
For my flower arrangement I used  a 30mm light Ivory wild rose, 25mm olive green rose and 15mm olive green rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. A pine cone, white flower spray and 25mm apple from
Live & Love Crafts and Kort & Godt white chrysanthemums from The Ribbon Girl
The white beaded berries are Magnolia.
I have coated the arrangement with Snow - Tex.
I used cinnamon sticks tied with hemp twine and tiny jingle bells from Live & Love Crafts above the flower arrangement.
I coated the Christmas tree with Twinklets Diamond dust and tied a couple of jingle bells with hemp twine to the lovely fence. The hemp twine is from The Ribbon Girl

A close look at Edwin.
I have adhered 3mm white pearl string from The Ribbon Girl around the image.
I surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and 3mm white s/a pearls.
I used glossy accents on the pocket and buttons of Edwins Dungarees and coated the star with ArtDeco glamour dust.
The metal Joy charm is from my craft stash. I painted it with white Gesso and used glamour dust on the O.
I dotted Edwin's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

I hope you like my Christmas card?

We would love you to come and join in with our Use A Die Cut challenge.
My teamies have designed some gorgeous creations. Why not pop over for a peek?

I am entering my card into the following super challenges;
