Sweet Tilda With Balloon And A New Challenge At LHOSM

Good afternoon. crafty blogger's.
Did you remember to put the clocks forward one hour!?
We have a new challenge starting today at Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is................USE A SENTIMENT

I have made a Birthday card.

I used Sweet Tilda With Balloon from the Animals Of The Year 2014 Collection. She was in my surprise package from Magnolia of Sweden.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Spellbinders floral oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.


For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics and Sofiero papers.
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's vintage decoration, La - La - Land heart doily border and cherry blossom branch. Cheery Lynn french pastry doily, Doohickey bride bow and Joy Crafts Billes flourishes.
I inked all the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.
The pretty lace and white pearl trim are from Wild Orchid Crafts


The shabby Chic frame is Mellissa Frances. 
I lightly painted it with white Gesso and then I inked the decorative border with aged mahogany distress ink.
The sentiment is computer generated using MS Word.
The resin dove, heart button and twine are from The Ribbon Girl I have used Frantage shabby white embossing enamel on the dove and painted the button with white Gesso.
I used a selection of roses from Wild Orchid Crafts The white Kort & Godt chrysanthemums, white beaded stamen, white hat pins and butterfly charm are from The Ribbon Girl.
I painted the butterfly charm with white Gesso and aged mahogany distress ink.

I used 3mm white s/a pearls in the 5 holes on the butterfly.

I used glossy accents on the balloon and adhered 3mm white pearls around the image.
I used a Inkssentials opaque white pen to dot Tilda's cheeks.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

Tilda With Apple Wreath And A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia

Good morning, crafty blogger's.
I hope you are well?
Thank you so very much for the beautiful comments that I received last weekend for my Guest DT card at The Ribbon Girl 
I'm here to share my DT card for our new challenge that starts today at Simply Magnolia
Our challenge theme for the next 2 weeks is...............
Embossing (Wet or Dry)
Instead of a sponsor for this fortnight, the prize will be a Guest DT spot for Simply Magnolia!

I have made another Christmas card. This time I have used Tilda With Apple Wreath from the Waiting For Christmas 2014 Collection.
The image is stamped with memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs circle die and matted onto a Cheery Lynn french pastry doily.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.


For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design A Gift For You papers.
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration, Ivy circle and Christmas tree 1. 
I embossed the Vintage decoration and Ivy circle through my EBosser.
Sizzix on the edge snow flurries which I have covered with lots of Snow - Tex. Joy Crafts Billes flourishes and Vintage leaf 4. Doohickey lovely fence .Holly leaves with swirl from Doohickey club Vol 2. I have inked all of the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink
The pretty orchid 50mm antique white vintage style lace along the bottom of the card is from
 The Ribbon Girl It's in their SALE at present.
The wooden JOY sentiment is from Hobby Craft. I have painted it with white Gesso.


The flower arrangement consisits of a 30mm light Ivory rose, 25mm dark red curly rose and 15mm dark red rose from Wild Orchid Crafts The burgundy beaded berries are from 
Live & Love Crafts and the pine cone, Kort & Godt white chrysanthemums, 20mm open Ivory rose, red apple and white hat pins are all from The Ribbon Girl
I covered the entire arrangement with Snow - Tex.
I have used Frantage shabby white embossing enamel on the Christmas tree. The bark star and jingle bells tied to the fence are from Live & Love Crafts

I surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.
I used glossy accents on the apples and  adhered a 5mm white pearl to the centre of the bow.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders stately circle.

For You Tilda And A New Challenge At Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia

Hello again, crafty blogger's.

Today we have a new fortnightly challenge starting at Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is
BUTTERFLIES

I have made another Mother's day card A commissioned card for my hubby's work colleague to give to her Mum.

I used For You Tilda from the Lost & Found 2014 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval and matted onto a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.



For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly # 2 and Maja Design walking in the forest papers.
Other dies used are marianne Design Anja's vintage decoration and clock. La - La- Land heart doily border and cherry blossom branches. Tim Holtz on the edge butterflight (cut with the design papers.) Cheery Lynn French pastry doily and Joy Crafts Billes flourishes.
I inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz frayed burlap distress ink.
The pretty lace is from Live & Love Crafts
The wooden heart button and hemp twine are from The Ribbon Girl


The flower arrangement consists of a 30mm Ivory rose and 15mm mocha roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The Kort & Godt chrysanthemums, Vintage Teal Mini Dahlia's and Vintage style Ivory trinket pins are from The Ribbon Girl 


The resin Mellissa Frances Chiswick oval frame is from The Ribbon Girl and in their sale at present.
I painted the frame with white Gesso and punch out the tiny butterflies with a Woodware punch. I applied some white Ranger liquid pearls along the centre of the butterflies.
The sentiment is a freebie from Birds Cards


Here is a close look at For You Tilda. I have coloured her quite a few times now.
I used glossy accents on the heart of Tilda's dungarees and added Ranger white liquid pearls on the bouquet and around the image.
I dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.

Guest Design Team Member, Divine Tilda And A March Colour Challenge At The Ribbon Girl

Good morning, crafty bloggers.
I hope you are well? 
Happy Mother's day to all you yummy Mummy's out there.
I an so excited to be sharing my post with you today. Mary from The Ribbon Girl e-mailed me a couple of weeks ago after I was picked at random to win their Magnolia only card challenge and asked me If I would like to be Guest DT member in the next few months. Yes, yes, yes was the answer and I can tell you that it didn't take me long to e-mail Mary back. Lol!!! So I am here to share my first creation using lots of yummy products from The Ribbon Girl My favourite online store for my crafting supplies.

Today over on The Ribbon Girl challenge blog is the March colour challenge which
is................GREEN

I used Divine Tilda from The Waiting For Christmas 2014 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.
Here is my card


For my shaped card I used Go Kreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Coffee in the Arbour papers.
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration and clock. La - La Land heart doily border and cherry blossom branch.  Cheery Lynn French pastry doily, Magnolia Doohickey bride bow and Joy Crafts Billes flourishes.
I have inked all the die cuts with Tim Holtz frayed burlap distress ink.
The pretty 45mm Jessica white Guipure lace and 10mm double row Ivory pearl trim along the bottom of the card are from The Ribbon Girl


The resin cameo roses frame flatback, large silver butterfly charm, Ivory resin dove, oval green diamante embellishment, green princess pin, Ivory pearl vintage trinket pins, Kort & Godt white chrysanthemums and white beaded stamens are all from The Ribbon Girl
I have painted the frame, butterfly and dove with white Gesso and rubbed them withTim Holtz pine needles distress ink to give a lovely green colour. The 3mm sea charm s/a pearl flatbacks that I used to embellish the butterfly are also from The Ribbon Girl
The 30mm Ivory rose and green 25mm roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The Mother's day sentiment is a freebie from Birds Cards


Here is a closer look at the large butterfly charm.
I will be buying a lot more of these. I loved the overall finish.


Here is a close look at the bow with gorgeous oval green diamante.
I will be using a lot more of them too. They come in a variety of different colours.


Here is a close up of Tilda.
I used some 3mm sea charm s/a pearl flatbacks and Ranger white liquid pearls around the image.
I have dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.


As always I have decorated inside the card with design paper and a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.

Tilda In Evening Dress And A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia

Good morning, crafty bloggers.
I hope you are well!?!?
We have a new challenge starting today at Simply Magnolia and for the next fortnight our challenge theme is FLOWERS.
Lets see some flowers on your Magnolia card/project.
We do not have a sponsor for our challenge this fortnight. Instead we are having a Guest DT spot.

I have made another commissioned card. An 80th Birthday card.

I used Tilda In Evening Dress. I have coloured her so many times now I reckon I could colour her blind folded. Lol!!!
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Joy Crafts Noor Design oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.


For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly # 2 and Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics papers. I have lightly sanded the papers.
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anjas vintage decoration and clock. La - La - land heart doily border and cherry blossom branch. Joy Crafts lets party cake and Billes flourishes.
My super bloggy friend spoilt me at Christmas with 8 Tim Holtz mini distress inks and mini blenders so I chose to use chipped sapphire to ink all the die cuts.
The pretty lace is from Ebay.
The bronze vintage frame is from The Ribbon Girl I painted the frame with white Gesso and then I rubbed it with Chipped sapphire distress ink embellishing the frame with a 5mm blue pearl and 3mm white pearls. The numbers are die cut using Memory Box classic numbers.


I used a selection of flowers and beaded berries from Wild Orchid Crafts and Live & Love Crafts.
The decorative pins are from Wild orchid Crafts.

On to my card.
I chose die cuts as my favourite embellishment and have made a Mother's day card.

The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Spellbinders floral oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.


For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Coffee In The Arbour papers.
Other dies used are La - La - Land heart doily border and cherry blossom branch.Marianne Design clock. magnolia Doohickey bride bow and Joy Crafts Billes flourishes.
I have inked all of the die cuts with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
The pretty lace is from Ebay. The white shabby ruffle trim is from Live & Love Crafts.The 3mm pearl string and resin dove are from The Ribbon Girl.


I used a selection of flowers and beaded berries from Wild Orchid Crafts, The Ribbon Girl and Live & Love Crafts.
I stamped the butterfly from the Magnolia butterfly kit with rich cocoa ink then coloured it with pencils and embellished the wings with Ranger white liquid pearts.
The resin frame is from The Ribbon Girl. I painted it with white Gesso.
The cherub is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have also painted it with white Gesso and lightly rubbed over it with tea dye distress ink.
