Golden Week Tilda

Hello, lovely blogger friends.
I hope you are well.
I'm here to share another commissioned card.
A Birthday card.

I used Golden Week Tilda from the Sakura 2015 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Spellbinders opulent oval.


For my shaped card I used GoKeate XXL frilly frame #5 and Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics/ Coffee In The Arbour papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Spellbinders Victorian fan and lace hearts. La La La hot air balloon and cherry blossom branches. Joy Crafts lattice heart and Billes flourishes.Cheery Lyn French pastry doily.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz chipped sapphire distress ink.
The pretty lace along the bottom of the card is 65mm Louise white Guipure lace from
The Birthday sentiment is Everyday Grungy Messages from LOTV
I have coloured the balloons and added glossy accents to them.
The bark heart is from The Ribbon Girl which I have paited with white Gesso. I used Pion Studio Of Memories design paper that has now been discontinued to cut out the word Mum.



I have tied the bow with some blue satin ribbon that my super bloggy friend sent to me and adhered a white flower shaped flat back pearl from WOC to the centre.
The beautiful enchanted butterfly is from Live & Love Crafts (I love decorating them)
I first painted the butterfly with white Gesso and rubbed over it with chipped sapphire distress ink.I have adhered a selection of s/a pearls/ tiny blue rhinestones into the recesses.
The 3mm whie s/a pearls are from The Ribbon Girl


The flower arrangement consists of a 30mm light Ivory wild rose, 25mm 2 tone antique blue open roses, 15m baby pink open roses and babies breath from WOC
20mm dusky blue open roses from The Ribbon Girl
White flower spray and Vintage "capped teardrop" pearl pins from Live & Love Crafts

I have used Frantage shabby white embossing enamel on the edge and around the image and used Ranger white liquid pearls among the flowers.
I have given Tillda a pair of pearl earrings with 3mm white s/a pearl flatbacks.


Inside the card is decorated with Maja Design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

On The Road Tilda And A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia

Hello, again!!! Lovely blogger friends.
This is my second blog post today. If you would like to see my first post for The Ribbon Girl August Magnolia Only add LACE challenge then you can find it HERE
Our new fortnightly challenge at Simply Magnolia also starts today and this time around our challenge theme is FUN IN THE SUN!

I have made a shaped card for a special friend.

I used On The Road Tilda from the Sea Breeze 2013 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval die.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted it onto a Cheery Lynn French pastry doily.



For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration, La La Land hot air balloon, heart doily border and cherry blossom branches. Magnolia Doohickey lovely fence and fruit tree. Joy Crafts Billes flourishes.
I have inked the die cuts with SSS Lavender premium ink pad.
The 65mm Louise white Guipure lace and flatback Ivory flower string across the card are from 



A close look at the tree and butterfly.
I have embellished the tree and butterfly with a selection of 3mm liking lilac and white s/a pearl flatbacks from The Ribbon Girl The larger pearl in the centre of the butterfly is from my craft stash.
The butterflies on the fence are punched out with a Woodware craft punch.
The enchanted butterfly is from Live & Love Crafts
I painted it with white Gesso and rubbed it over with lavender ink.
The resin dove is from The Ribbon girl I've given that a coat of Gesso too.


The flower arrangement consists of lilac 30mm wild roses and Ivory 20mm open roses from 
The Ribbon Girl The lilac 15mm open roses and babies breath are from WOC

I have used Frantage shabby white embossing enamel around the edge of the image (I ran out of pearl string.) So annoying. Lol!!!
I sprinkled it around the image too.
I used glamour dust on the roses in Tilda's basket and dotted her cheeks with a white gelly roll pen.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

Vintage Bridal Couple And The Ribbon Girl Magnolia Only Challenge - Add Lace

I hope you are well.
It's time for the August Magnolia Only challenge over on The Ribbon Girl challenge blog and this time we want to see LACE on your cards/projects.
I have made a 40th Anniversary card.

I used Vintage Bridal Couple from The Special Moments 2013 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.



For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics papers from Live & Love Crafts 
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration and clock. Spellbinders lace hearts, Memory Box classic numbers, Joy Crafts lattice heart and Billes flourishes.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.

65mm Louise White Guipure Lace, 10mm Double Row Ivory Pearl Trim, 25mm Sable Satin Berisford N0 83 Ribbon, 3mm White Pearl String, Butterfly Large Silver Colour Charm, 20mm Pearl & Diamante Flower Embellishment, Brown 2 Tone 30mm Wild Roses, Ivory 20mm Open Roses WOC, Bark Hearts, Small Pack Of 5 and 3mm White s/a Pearl Flatbacks.


Here is a few close up pictures of the embellishments used.I have painted the bark heart with white Gesso and ahered the 40 to the centre with 3D sticky pads.
One of many gorgeous diamante embellishments adhered to the centre of the bow. The beautiful butterfly charm that I have first painted with white Gesso and then rubbed over with aged mahogany distress ink.
These butterfly charms have 5 spaces where you can adhere pearls/gems of your choice. I choose to use 3mm white s/a pearls. They are the perfect size to fit into the spaces.

I have surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and a length of 3mm white pearl string.
I used glamour dust on the tiara in Tilda's hair and added Ranger white liquid pearls to the lilies. 
I also gave Tilda some earings using 3mm dark red s/a pearls from WOC



Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

Sakura Tilda

Hello, lovely blogger friends.
I hope you are well.
I'm here to share another commissioned card.
This time I've made a Birthday card.

I used Sakura Tilda from the Sakura 2015 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.


For my shaped card I used GoKreate XXL frilly frame #5 and Maja Design Vintage Baby papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Spellbinders Victorian fan, Cheery Lynn French pastry doily, Marianne Design clock, La La Land cherry blossom branches, Magnolia Doohickey bloomy tag and Joy Crafts banner and Billes flourishes.
I have inked the die cuts with TimHoltz aged mahogany distress ink.
The pretty lace is called Marie Therese from Live & Love Crafts and the white flat back pearl trim is from WOC
I have cut the letters on the bloomy tag from a sheet of Pion Studio of Memories paper and the Happy Birthday sentiment is a magazine freebie.


I painted a wooden oval from The Works with white Gesso and adhered a piece of Vintage baby paper to the back and adhered pink 5mm s/a earl flatbacks from my craft stash around the frame.
The butterfly is cut from a sheet of Pion Design Paris flea market "postcards" paper from 
The edges of the wings are painted with white Gesso.


The flower arrangement consists of a 30mm light Ivory wild rose, 25mm 2 tone pink wild rose, small white lilies, pink beaeded stamens, 15mm baby pink open roses and a decorative pin all from WOC
The Kort & Godt pale pink rolled rose is from The Ribbon Girl


A close look at gorgeous Sakura Tilda.
I surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and white oval string pearls. The pearl string is from my local Hobby Craft store. I ran out last week and was missing using it around my images.
I used Ranger white liquid pearls on the flower in Tilda;s hair and on her dress.
I dotted her cheeks with a white gelly roll pen.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

Loving Bridal Couple

Today I would like to share a commissioned card with you.
A Wedding card in sepia and pinks.

I used Loving Bridal Couple from the Wedding Collection 2010.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out
 using a CartUs oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Joy Crafts Noor! oval.


For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Coffee In The Arbour papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration, Cheery Lynn French pastry doily, Spellbinders lace hearts, La La Land heart doily border and cherry blossom branches. Joy crafts banner and Billes flourishes.
I have inked all the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.
From The Ribbon Girl online store I have used 65mm white Guipure lace, 32mm Valerie white fine lace and 10mm double row Ivory pearl trim.


The wooden bark heart and letters that I have cut from a sheet of Pion studio of memories are from 
 I painted the bark heart with white Gesso and adhered the letters onto the heart with 3D sticky pads.
The 3mm white pearl string is from The Ribbon Girl
 The wooden dove is from The Works. I have painted it with white Gesso and added glamour dust to it while the Gesso was wet.


The flower arrangements consist of 30mm pink wild roses,15mm baby pink open roses and babies breath from WOC
Pale pink 20mm open roses and Ivory 20mm open roses from The ribbon Girl
The shabby white liberty bells are from Live & Love Crafts

 

I surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel. The 3mm white s/a pearl flatbacks from The Ribbon Girl
I dotted Tilda and Edwins cheeks with a white gelly roll pen and used Ranger white liquid pearls on the bouquet and arrangement in Tilda's hair.

MiaMia The Flamingo And a New Challenge At Simply Magnolia

Hello, lovely blogger friends.
I hope you are well.
Today sees a new fortnightly challenge at Simply Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is BY THE SEA!

You may be thinking....................A flamingo by the sea! Now I did my homework on this one and I was surprised to learn that flamingos live in lagoons, shallow lakes, mangrove swamps and sandy beach areas near the low tide marks.
So this sweet MiaMia is on her way to be by the sea!

I have made a tag.
I used MiaMia The Flamingo from the Summer Memories 2012 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval.
I have coloured the image with Polychromos pencils.



For my tag I used Kraft card and Maja Design Sofiero papers.
I painted white Gesso around the edges of the tag and papers.
Other dies used are seahorse and anchor from Magnolia Doohickey Club Vol 1

I have embellished the anchor with a silver plated split ring and chain.
I tied some pink shabby seam binding from WOC into a bow and embellished it with natural hemp twine and a nautical charm that my super bloggy friend sent me.
I painted the edges of the seahorse with white Gesso and used a 3mm s/a white pearl for the eye.

Little Cute Tilda

Hello, lovely blogger friends.
I hope you are well.
Just to let you know that we are taking a Summer break at Lovely Haenglar or Sweet Magnolia until the beginning of September

One of my Husbands work colleagues asked me to make a Christening card  for a little girl named Winnie.
I hope you like it.

I used Little Cute Tilda from the Special Moments 2013 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos Pencils.



For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Coffee In The Arbour/Sofiero and Magnolia papers. The Maja Design papers are from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Spellbinders Victorian fan and lace hearts. La La Land heart doily border and rocking horse. Marianne Design clock, Joy Crafts Billes flourishes and Memory Box simple banner.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz spun sugar distress ink.
The pretty white Guipure lace is from WOC and the shabby rose organza trim is from

I tied a bow using 25mm pink satin ribbon that my super bloggy friend had tied around my Christmas card box last year, I thought I would recycle it. I embellished the bow with 3mm white pearl string, a wooden heart, natural twine and a 5mm pink s/a pearl all from The Ribbon Girl
The rocking horse is die cut with Magnolia paper
I have computer generated the Christening day sentiment in MS Word.
The tiny wooden spool is from my craft stash.


The letters on the banner are cut out from a sheet of  Pion studio of memories design paper.
I  adhered natural twine and 5mm pink s/a pearls to embellish the banner.
The butterfly is cut from a sheet of Pion Design Paris flea market - postcards paper.
Both design sheets are from Live & Love Crafts


The flower arrangement consists of a 30mm light Ivory wild rose, 25mm 2 tone pink wild roses, 20mm pale pink open roses and babies breath all from WOC
