Tilda With Heart Rice And A New Monthly Challenge At LHOSM

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.
I hope you are well.
Today see's a new challenge over on Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia challenge blog, and this time around our challenge theme is........................ANYTHING GOES

I have made another Birthday card. 
This is one that I have made for my Mum from her partner.

I used Tilda With Heart Rice from the Boho 2015 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Bristol board extra smooth cardstock and cut around freehand.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor & Polychromos pencils and matted the finished image onto a Spellbinders floral oval.




For the shape of my card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #5 and Craft & You 'Vintage Time' paper 6 x 6 stack from The Ribbon Girl
Other dies used are; Cheery Lynn French pastry doily, Spellbinders lattice hearts, Marianne Design Ivy circle and Magnolia Doohickey bloomy tag.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink.
I have embellished the card with lots of gorgeous products from The Ribbon Girl online store.

A couple of close ups of the flower arrangements, Vintage pins, Heart charm and Butterfly.
I have painted the silver butterfly with white Gesso and adhered a couple of sugar & spice s/a Pearl flatbacks along the centre.
I have cut out the letters to spell Chris from a sheet of Pion paper.

I surrounded the outside of the image with shabby white embossing enamel and sugar & spice s/a pearl flatbacks.
I adhered a length of 5mm crystal bead string around the outside of the finished image.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and the third smallest of a GoKreate large frame frilly #5 die cut.

Dancing Tilda In Italy And May's Anything Goes - Any Image Challenge At The Ribbon Girl

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.
I hope you are well.
Hubby and I are off to Scotland for 5 day's tomorrow and I am really looking forward to it.

Today see's a new challenge over on The Ribbon Girl blog so for the next 2 weeks the challenge theme is.............................ANYTHING GOES - USE ANY IMAGE

I made a card for my Mother-In-Law who celebrated her 70th Birthday last weekend.

I used Dancing Tilda In Italy from The Little Italy 2015 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Bristol board extra smooth cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor & Polychromos pencils and matted the finished image onto a Joy Crafts Noor! oval.


For the shape of my card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #5 and Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics from The Ribbon Girl
Other dies used are; Cheery Lynn English tea party doily and French pastry doily. Marianne Design stitched circle, Magnolia Doohickey bloomy tag and Memory Box classic numbers.
I inked the edges of the die cuts with Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink.

A closer look at the flower arrangements, diamante heart, resin frame and dove.
I painted the resin frame with white Gesso and backed it with design paper. I adhered a length of 4mm white bead string inside the recess and embellished the frame with 3mm sea charm s/a pearls.
The dove is also painted with white Gesso.
The mum wording is cut from a sheet of Pion paper. 


A closer look at this adorable lady!
I adhered a length of 3mm x 5mm white oval pearl trim around the outside of the image and surrounded the inside with 3mm sea charm s/a pearls.
I have dotted Tilda's eyes and cheeks with a white gelly roll pen.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and the smallest of a 
GoKreate large frame frilly #5 die cut.

Mum-In-Law loved her card.

Vintage Time Decorated Box

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.
I'm back again! This time with a box that I have decorated using some new papers from
These new papers came through my letterbox at the weekend and, I knew that I would enjoy creating something with them. 
The gorgeous embellishment's that I used on my box are also from The Ribbon Girl I have listed them beneath my project.

I decorated the box for my Mum. I am going to place her Birthday present inside it.

Midsummer's Night And An Inspirational Card For The Ribbon Girl

I hope you are well.
I am here to share a Birthday card that I have made for my Mum who is celebrating her Birthday at the end of May using lots of stunning embellishments from The Ribbon Girl online store.

I used Midsummer's Night from Lili Of The Valley
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Bristol board extra smooth cardstock and cut around the image.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor & Polychromos pencils and mounted the finished image onto a Spellbinders floral oval.


For the shape of my card I used GoKreate large frame frilly # 2 and Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics papers.
Other dies used are; Cheery Lynn English tea party doily, Marianne Design clock and Ivy circle. Magnolia Doohickey bloomy tag and jungle leaves.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink.

Here are a couple of close up's of the flowers, Vintage pins, dragonfly charm, mushroom charm and resin cameo frame.
I have painted the frame with white Gesso and rubbed over it with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink. Around the inside of the frame I adhered a length of 3mm x 5mm oval white pearl string and using 2mm 3D sticky pads adhered the mushroom charm inside the oval.

I loved colouring her!
I surrounded the image with Shabby white embossing enamel and 3mm sugar & Spice s/a pearls.
Around the outside of the image I adhered a length of 4mm Ivory pearl string.
I used glamour dust on the stars and added white liquid pearls to the toadstools.
I used glossy accents on the moon.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and the smallest of a  GoKreate large frame frilly #2 die cut.
