Happy Birthday To You!

Good afternoon, crafty bloggers.

I have made a card to celebrate Midweek Magnolias first Birthday.

The birthday blog hop was truly amazing with each design team member generously giving away the most beautiful candy a crafter could dream of.

As I am a fairly new fan to Tilda thanks to my wonderful bloggy friend Kirsty-Anne who introduced me to Tilda before Christmas. I am now totally hooked!

 

 I thoroughly enjoyed hopping along to all of the talented design teams blogs to leave a comment.

So this card is for all the lovely ladies who made me smile with their gorgeous creations.

 

 

I have coloured Tilda With Big Tulip Pot with Polychromos pencils.

The papers I have used are NitWitCollections Crab Apple Lane "Country Lady from

Lili Of The Valley.

 

The lace is from The Ribbon Girl, the flowers, white stamens and 5mm ivory pearls are from

Wild Orchid Crafts.

 

The sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly which I have coloured and matted onto cream card.

 

The butterfly punch is by Woodware which I purchased from Crafts U Love quite a while back.

I have turned up the butterfly wings so it looks as if they are in flight and added

 gold Stickles to their centres.



 

Inside the card has been decorated to compliment the front.

Fairytale Friday "Day dreams in the garden"

Good morning, crafty bloggers.

It's Fairytale Friday over at the Teddy Bo challenge blog and since our challenge this month is

SPRING

I have made a card with one of last weeks new releases just to cheer myself up due to the fact that spring still has not arrived in Derbyshire yet or anywhere else in the UK at the moment I believe.

 

Here is my card.

 

 

I have coloured image TEDDYBEA_259 "Day dreams in the garden"

I have coloured the image with Polychromos pencils, cut around the image and matted it onto

 cream card.

I then cut around the card and added DecoArt Glamour dust to the water sprinkles from the watering can and decorated the centre of the yellow flower with Suze Weinberg's Jazz Beadazzles.

 

The papers are NitWitCollections Crab Apple Lane "Country Lady which are available in an 8"x8" paper pad from Lili Of The Valley.

 

I have used 25mm cream satin ribbon, a metal filigree corner, roses and flower shaped pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts.

 

The pretty daisy lace is from The Ribbon Girl and the sentiment is a freebie from Desert Diva which I have printed in red and matted onto cream card.

 

I punched out the butterflies using a small butterfly punch from Woodware and the Woodland branches either side of the roses is a Martha Stewart punch.

 

 

Inside the card has been decorated to compliment the front.

Easter bunny Bo!

Good morning, crafty bloggers.

It's Fairytale Friday once again at Teddy Bo towers and today I am sharing with you an Easter card featuring Easter bunny Bo!
This was one of the very first drawn images and I still love it.

 

I have coloured TEDDYBO_005 "Easter bunny Bo" with Polychromos pencils, sprayed the image with Crafters Companion Spray & Sparkle then matted it onto cream card.

 

The pretty papers are NitWitsCollection "Petal Fresh" from Lili Of The Valley.

 

I have die cut two Magnolia Doohickey floral heart swirls and coloured them with a powder blue Promarker pen adding roses and beaded pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts.

 

The metal gold filigree corners are also from Wild Orchid Crafts.

 

The sentiment is a freebie from Desert Diva which I have cut around and matted onto a

 Spellbinders Nestibilites beaded scallop circle die.

 

 

Inside the card has been decorated to compliment the front.

A card for my beautiful Mum.

Good evening, crafty bloggers.

 

Today I have made my beautiful Mum an easel card for Mother's day featuring

Tilda with love potion.

 

 

I have used 300gsm white Conqueror card for Easel card.

 

I have coloured "Tilda with love potion" with  Polychromos pencils, die cut the image and matted it onto an oval ornate frame by Sizzix which I distressed with some brown ink and lightly sprayed with Crafters Companion Spray & Sparkle.

 

The papers are NitWitCollections Crab Apple Lane "Country Lady" which are sold as a 8"x8" paper pad from Lili Of The Valley.

 

I have used Magnolia Doohickey heart floral swirl dies and inked around the edges.

 

The roses and 5mm Ivory pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the silver metal butterfly charm is from Creative treasures.

 

The 25mm cream satin ribbon and flower shaped pearls are from The Ribbon Girl.

 

The Happy Mothers Day sentiment is a freebie from Birdscards.com. I have matted this onto a Spellbinders Nestibilities oval scalloped die and inked around the edges.

 

The base of the card has been decorated to compliment the front.

The sentiment which reads A lucky few have a Mother like you! Is a freebie from Desert Diva.

Teddy Bo Tuesday. New releases and a new challenge.

Good morning, crafty bloggers.

Today is Teddy Bo Tuesday and we have some gorgeous new digital releases for you drawn by our very talented boss Gayle Cook.

 

Here they are.

 

 

It was so hard to choose which one to colour as I always want to colour them all but, I thought with Easter only just around the corner It had to be

 

"Egg masterpiece"

 

 

I have coloured image TEDDYBO_246 with Polychromos pencils, sprayed it with

 Crafters Companion Spray & Sparkle and matted the image onto cream cardstock.

 

The pretty papers are NitwitCollections Crab Apple Lane "Country Lady" from Lili Of The Valley

which have also been matted onto cream cardstock

 

The flowers and metal filigree corner are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The silver butterfly charm is from Creative Treasures.

The sentiment which has been matted onto cream cardstock is a freebie from Desert Diva.

 

I have cut out the leaves with a Martha Stewart woodland branch punch.

 

 

Inside the card has been decorated to compliment the front.

I love the sparkling shimmer effect!

Fairytale Friday "Flowers and gifts!"

It's Friday again and the start of another month.

Where did February go?

Once again us ladies at Teddy Bo towers have been busy making cards.

Earlier this week a friend asked me if I could make a Mothers day card for his mum using the same layout that I made for the Magnolia Tilda hiding heart "I love you with all my heart" card a little while ago and here it is.

The sizzix frame and Magnolia Doohickey heart swirl branches have been distressed with brown ink and I have added a 3mm ivory pearl to the top of the butterfly.
