Maja Deco Delight - Swedish House Crafts DT

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.
I hope you are well?

I'm here with a card that I've made using Maja Design celebrate papers and foamiran flowers using gorgeous products available to purchase in store at Swedish House Crafts.

I decorated the base, and inside of the card with two of my chosen 12" x 12" Maja Design Celebration sheets. and cut out one of the gorgeous Art Deco image's also from Maja Design celebration ephemera. There are six large image's to choose from with 7 smaller postage stamp image's. Perfect for all those glamorous ladies out there.

Links to the products used can be found at the end of this post.

I made the flowers with white foamiran, Lady E dies leaves 002, and forest berry stamens.

I cut out the petals, and coloured them with Gelatos from my stash! Using my fingers I rolled the ends of the petals, and let them sit for a while, and then I opened them out.

I took four stamen's, and folded them over a small length of wire that way it was a lot easier to thread them through the centre's of each petal adding a little glue between each petal so one adhered onto the other. I got the idea from Lady E.

I cut some chipboard pieces from Laserowe Lily of the valley, and positioned them underneath where I wanted to position the flowers. Once I was happy with the layout, I adhered the chipboard, and flowers to the card.

The above picture shows exactly the same sort of layout on the other side of the card, but I used less flowers.

Inside the card is decorated to complement the front.

Paper Nest Dolls - Princess with Apple | Swedish House Crafts DT

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.
I'm here as well as on Swedish House Crafts blog today with a card that I have designed using another of the gorgeous Paper Nest Doll rubber stamps. This little beauty is called Princess with Apple. She is from the fairytale collection.

I would highly recommend  popping over to the store to see the many gorgeous paper nest doll rubber stamp collections.

I covered the base of the card with Maja Design celebration papers, and used some Lady E dies to make the flowers.

I used Maja Design monochromes paper to cut Magnolia Doohickey window die. I adhered a piece of lace from my stash behind the window at the top. Sadly the window die is no longer available to buy in store, but Suha does stock a small selection of other Magnolia Doohickey metal dies that is worth taking a look!

A close look at Princess with Apple. I coloured her Polychromos pencils, and cut around the image.
I used 3D foam tape from my stash to adhere her to the card.

I made the flowers ecru foamiran, and Lady E leaves 002, and tiny flowers dies.
I coloured the edges of the flowers with pastels from my stash prior to assembling them.

Inside the card is decorated to complement the front.

Paper Nest Dolls - Tower Princess - Swedish House Crafts DT

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.

I'm here with my DT card for Swedish House Crafts.
I've made a shaped card featuring one of the latest collections of Paper Nest Dolls stamps. The collection is called Fairytales. There are 13 stamps in the whole collection. You can purchase the whole collection for the price of 11 stamps in store now at Swedish House Crafts.

My chosen stamp is called Tower Princess. I have coloured her in sepia using Polychromos pencil colour nougat. This is the first time that I have coloured one of the paper Nest Dolls stamps, and I thoroughly enjoyed doing so.

I decorated the base of the card with Maja Design Celebration papers also available to purchase at Swedish House Crafts.

Links to the products are in text, and can be found at the end of this post.

I chose to colour the image in sepia colours using Polychromos pencil colour nougat.
I fussy cut around Tower Princess, and adhered her to a die cut oval from my stash using 2mm foam tape.
The 5mm pearls around the image are from my stash!

To make the flowers I used Lady E die leaves 002, and Maja Design Celebration papers. I used stamens from my own stash in the centre of each of the flowers.

I die cut Magnolia Doohickey castle using Maja Design Celebration papers.

Sadly the castle isn't available anymore in store, but the tower is.

Behind the flowers is a tower with a flag. I die cut the castle, and improvised by cutting just the tower from Magnolia Doohickey castle as I do not yet possess Magnolia Doohickey tower which is available to pre order in store. I have linked Magnolia Doohickey tower at the bottom of this post.

Inside the card is decorated to complement the front.
