Waterliliy Tilda.

Good afternoon, crafty bloggers.
I had a request from my mum to make a card for her grand daughter. My niece.
My mum chose Waterliliy Tilda and pink.
When I gave the card to my mum today she was over the moon!
Here is the card.

I have coloured Waterlily Tilda with Polychromos pencils and used a Spellbinders Nestibilites
Floral Oval die to cut her out.
I distressed the edges of the oval with Spun Sugar distress ink by Tim Holtz.
The image has been sprayed with Crafters Companion Spray & Sparkle and I have added Glamour Dust to Tilda's detail on her dress and hair band. the butterflies and lots to the water.
The pretty floral papers are First Editions "Sweet Owl" which I have matted onto pink card.
I used a half daisy edger punch by Martha Stewart to punch a strip of pink card across the centre matting floral paper onto it and placed a piece of cheesecloth onto the centre of the card.
The white Guipure lace across the centre is from The Ribbon Girl.
The pink, ivory and white roses with gypsophilia are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I die cut a Magnolia Doohickey Floral Heart Swirl with pink card and placed it amongst the flowers.
The white flower spray is from Live & Love crafts.

Iside the card has been decorated to compliment the front.

A closer look at the flower arrangement. I added 3mm pink and white pearls to each of the larger roses.
Can you see the bee charm? I added a 3mm white pearl to the bee too.
I purchased the charm from The Ribbon Girl.

A close up of Waterliliy Tilda.
She is soooooo pretty.

I hope you like what you see!

I am entering my card into the following super challenges:

  9. Hi Donna, This is absolutely gorgeous, a beautiful card and love your colouring.
Thanks for all your lovely comments on my blog, I am sorry I don't get much time to comment but I will try to pop by when I can, thanks also for the comment on my tutorial for card blanks, I don't always make inserts for my cards (I probably should) but when I do I just cut a smaller piece of paper out using the same dies and it fits into the middle. I hope this is helpful to you. hugs Teresa xx
