Hello, Lovely blogger friend's.
I hope you are well?
I can't believe May is nearly upon us.
It will soon be time to start making those Christmas cards again!

Today see's a new monthly challenge over on the Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia challenge blog and this time around our challenge theme is.........................
SUMMER
Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is the lovely Sandy at Live & Love Crafts with a £10 voucher for one lucky winner!

My super bloggy friend recently visited Sweden and brought me back a crafty package. This gorgeous maggie was inside. Thank you I love her!

I have made a Summery 40th Birthday card.

I used Summer Buzz Tilda from the Pink Lemonade 2014 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Brisol board extra smooth cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor & Polychromos pencils and matted the finished image onto a Spellbinders floral oval.

For the shape of my card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #5 and Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics papers from The Ribbon Girl
Other dies used are; Cheery Lynn English tea party doily, Spellbinders lattice hearts and fall foliage. Marianne Design Ivy circle. La La Land hot air balloon and build a bee. Memory Box classic numbers.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink.
I have used lots of gorgeous embellishments on my card from The Ribbon Girl online store.

A couple of close up's of the flowers, bee and bronze frame.
I have added glamour dust to the bee's wings.
The frame is sadly no longer available from The Ribbon Girl, but there are a couple of gorgeous resin frames that can be decorated if you wish.
I painted the bronze frame with white Gesso and backed it with design paper. I adhered 3mm sugar & spice pearl flatbacks into the recesses and used 3D sticky tape on the back of the numbers before positioning them into the frame.

A close up of adorable Tilda.
I have adhered a length of 4mm Ivory pearl bead sting around the outside of the image and adhered 3mm sugar & spice s/a pearl flatbacks around the image.
I dotted Tilda's eyes and cheeks with a white gelly roll pen and added glamour dust to the tiny bee's wings.

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and the 3rd smallest of a GoKreate
large frame frilly # 5.

We would love you to come and join in with our current monthly challenge.
