Chic Fringe Tilda And A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia

Hello, lovely blogger freind's.
I hope you are well.
This is a scheduled post as hubby and I will be enjoying the 2nd day of our 10 day Mediterranean cruise.

Today see's our new fortnightly challenge at Simply Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is a nice easy one...........................ANYTHING GOES
Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is The Ribbon Girl with a £10 voucher up for grabs for one lucky winner! Thank you Mary and Andrea.
I have made a commissioned Birthday card.

I used Chic Fringe Tilda from the Boho Collection 2015.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the finished image onto a Joy Crafts Noor Design oval.

For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design  Vintage Summer Basics papers from LLC
Other dies used are; La La Land heart doily border and cherry blossom branches. Cheery Lynn English tea party doily and Spellbinders lace hearts.
i have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz spun sugar distress ink.
I used lots of gorgeous embellishments on my card from The Ribbon Girl online store.
Here is the list. Just click on the links to take you to the products.

A few close ups of the flower arrangements.
I painted the butterfly charm with white Gesso and once dry rubbed over it with Audrey blue premium ink and adhered 3mm white s/a pearl flatbacks into the spaces to give extra impact.
The Birthday cake charm is from LLC I tied the charm with a piece of natural hemp twine to the white seam binding.

Here is a close look at Chic Fringe Tilda.
I surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and 3mm white s/a pearl flatbacks.
I used glamour dust on the tassels and Ranger white liquid pearls for the decoration in Tilda's hair.
I adhered a length of 3mm white pearl string around the outside of the image and dotted Tilda's cheeks with a white gelly roll pen.

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

We would love for you to come and join in with our current challenge.
My teamies have designed some gorgeous creations. Why not pop over HERE for a peek?

I'll be back on the 15th November.
See you soon!
