I Give You A Rose Tilda. A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia And A DT CALL!

Hello, lovely blogger friends.
I hope you are well.
Oh, dear! I've not posted a project for 2 weeks, but I have been making things!
Our new fortnightly challenge at Simply Magnolia begins today and this time around our challenge theme is CAS OR FULLY LOADED

The prize for a randomly picked winner is a mystery gift from our lovely blog owner NICOLA

We are also having a DT Call, even the current designers have to re-enter. All you have to do to enter is submit your Cas or Fully loaded Magnolia creation into the current challenge and add DT after your name.
I have made a fully loaded card. Another commissioned card for a young lady who has just turned 17.

I used I Give You a Rose Tilda from the Sakura Collection 2015.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Joy Crafts Noor oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.

For my shaped card I used GoKreate XXL frilly frame #5 and Maja Design Coffee In The Arbour papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Spellbinders Victorian fan, Shapeabilities butterfly and lace hearts. La La Land hot air balloon and cherry blossom branches, Cheery Lynn French pastry doily, Joy Crafts banner and Magnolia Doohickey feathers.
All the die cuts have been inked with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.
The pretty pink Marie Therese lace is from Live & Love Crafts
I used a selection of gorgeous embellishments on my card available from The Ribbon Girl online store. They are; 38mm Charlotte Elizabeth Vintage Style White Lace, 10mm Double Row Ivory Pearl Trim, 3mm x5mm Oval White Pearl String, Pale Pink 20mm Open Roses WOC, Crysanth White Kort & Godt, Beaded Stamen White/White, Pearl & Rhinestone Butterflies, 3 Stems Of Crystal Butterfly With Silver Wire, Pk Of 5 White Hat Pins and 3mm White s/a Pearl Flatbacks.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is a freebie from a craft magazine.

A close look at the Spellbinders butterfly with a row of 3mm x 5mm oval white pearl string adhered along the centre.

A close look at the flower arrangement.
The 30mm light Ivory wild rose and 25mm pink wild roses are from WOC
Here you can also see the gorgeous crystal butterfly with silver wire and the white hat pin.
The pink beaded berries are Magnolia.

A close look at I Give You A Rose Tilda.
I have surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and adhered the 3mm x 5mm oval white pearl string around the outside of the image.
I added some glamour dust to the scarf around Tilda's neck and dotted her cheeks with a white gelly roll pen. I also adhered a pink rhinestone to the bunches in Tilda's hair.

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

My teamies have designed some gorgeous creations.
Why not pop on over HERE for a peek?

I am entering my card into the following super challenge's;

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit today and huge thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I really appreciate every single one of them.

  5. I'm so happy to see a new creation from you, Donna! And what a beauty it is. Tilda's pink blossoms pop so beautifully against the neutral coloring tones. Your embellishing is filled with magical delight... your collection of goodies must be a sight to behold! I especially love the lace, sweet butterfly, and gorgeous pearly/sparkly elements. The pearly flutterer atop the hot air balloon is beautiful. Wonderfully done as always, my friend. :o)

    Hugs and blessings,
    Karen
