Time To Drink Champagne Edwin And A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia

Hello again, lovely blogger friends.
This is my second post today. If you would like to see my first post for The Ribbon Girl  Magnolia only Summer challenge where I have altered an artists canvas then you can find it
HERE
Our new fortnightly challenge at Simply Magnolia starts today and this time our challenge theme is BUTTONS or BOWS (or both)
Our wonderful sponsor for our challenge is Crafty Ribbons with a £10 voucher for one lucky winner!

I used Time To Drink Champagne Edwin from the Lovely Duo 2015 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval die.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils

For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame #2 and Vintage Baby/Coffee In The Arbour papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration and clock. La La land hot air balloon, cherry blossom branches and heart doily border. Joy Crafts banner and Billes flourishes. magnolia Doohickey bride bow and Memory box classic numbers.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.
The sentiment is Joy Crafts English banner text.

A couple of close up's.
I have painted the resin roses cameo frame with white Gesso and rubbed over it with aged mahogany distress ink and adhered 3mm x 5mm oval white pearl string around the inside of the frame.
The frame and pearl string are from The Ribbon Girl
I used white Gesso on the bow and adhered a bark heart to the centre with a clock charm from my crafty stash.

The flower arrangement consists of a 30mm light Ivory rose, babies breath and 25mm Vintage roses from WOC.
Kort & Godt chrysanthemums, small pink lily and white hat pins from The Ribbon Girl and white flower spray from Live & Love Crafts
I have painted some white Gesso onto the Vintage roses.

A close look at charming Edwin.
I have surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and 3mm white s/a pearl flatbacks.
I used glossy accents on the champagne glasses and Ranger white liquid pearls for the bubbles.
I dotted Edwins cheeks with a white gelly roll pen.

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

We would love you to come and join in with our current challenge.
My teamies have designed some gorgeous creations.
Why not pop over for a peek?
