Good afternoon, crafty blogger's.
I hope you are coping OK with the mini heatwave here in the UK?
Temperatures reached 33 Degrees on Wednesday here in Derbyshire. I'm not one for hot weather. I prefer Spring and Autumn.
Today I'm here to share my DT creation for our fortnightly challenge at
Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia
This time our challenge theme is; SUMMER FUN!
Our wonderful sponsor is Jules House Of Ribbons
I used Lazy Tilda from the new Sakura 2015 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Spellbinders opulent oval.
For my shaped card I used XXL frilly frame #5 and some papers from my crafty stash plus Maja Design Walking In The Forest papers. Other dies used are La La Land hot air balloon and cherry blossom branches. Magnolia Doohickey fruit tree and lovely fence. Cherry Lynn French pastry doily and Spellbinders shapeabilities butterfly. I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz frayed burlap distress ink.
The beautiful "Marie Therese" lace is from Live & Love Crafts

Only a small flower arrangement from me this time which consists of a 30mm dusky blue rose, a 20mm Ivory open rose and white beaded stamens from The Ribbon Girl
The daffodils and 15mm green open rose are from WOC.
Here is a close look at the Doohickey fruit tree. It's the first time I have used this die and I love it!
I have built up the tree and apples to give a 3D effect with 1mm and 2mm sticky foam tape.
I used a Woodware tiny butterfly punch for the butterflies on the fence.
A close look at Lazy Tilda. This is me on a Summer's day. Lol!!!
I added ArtDeco glamour dust to the daffodils and butterfly and used glossy accents on the cloud and buttons on Tilda's dungarees.
I adhered 3mm white pearl string from The Ribbon Girl around the image.
I have decorate inside the card with paper from my stash and a Spellbinders floral oval.
I hope you like my Summery card?
My teamies have designed some gorgeous creations. Why not pop over for a peek?
I am entering my card into the following super challenge;
