Time To Drink Champagne Edwin And A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia

Hello again, lovely blogger friends.
This is my second post today. If you would like to see my first post for The Ribbon Girl  Magnolia only Summer challenge where I have altered an artists canvas then you can find it

Our new fortnightly challenge at Simply Magnolia starts today and this time our challenge theme is BUTTONS or BOWS (or both)

I used Time To Drink Champagne Edwin from the Lovely Duo 2015 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval die.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils



For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame #2 and Vintage Baby/Coffee In The Arbour papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration and clock. La La land hot air balloon, cherry blossom branches and heart doily border. Joy Crafts banner and Billes flourishes. magnolia Doohickey bride bow and Memory box classic numbers.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.
The sentiment is Joy Crafts English banner text.



A couple of close up's.
I have painted the resin roses cameo frame with white Gesso and rubbed over it with aged mahogany distress ink and adhered 3mm x 5mm oval white pearl string around the inside of the frame.
The frame and pearl string are from The Ribbon Girl
I used white Gesso on the bow and adhered a bark heart to the centre with a clock charm from my crafty stash.


The flower arrangement consists of a 30mm light Ivory rose, babies breath and 25mm Vintage roses from WOC.
Kort & Godt chrysanthemums, small pink lily and white hat pins from The Ribbon Girl and white flower spray from Live & Love Crafts
I have painted some white Gesso onto the Vintage roses.

I have surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and 3mm white s/a pearl flatbacks.
I used glossy accents on the champagne glasses and Ranger white liquid pearls for the bubbles.
I dotted Edwins cheeks with a white gelly roll pen.



Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

Bikini Tilda And Summer Magnolia Only Challenge At The Ribbon Girl

Hello, lovely blogger friends.
I hope you are well.
It's the last Sunday of the month which means It's time for another Magnolia only challenge over on The Ribbon Girl challenge blog and this time the theme is SUMMER.

I have altered a stretch canvas.
I used Bikini Tilda from the Sea Breeze 2013 Collection.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.




I have painted the whole of the canvas with white Gesso
I covered the sides and inside the canvas with Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics papers.

32mm Clementine Ivory Tulle Lace, Cheesecloth, Ivory White Magnolia Flowers, Rolled Paper Flowers - Aqua Roses Kort & Godt, Liliy Flowers Small Pale Pink, Seahorse Charm Bronze, Starfish Charm, 3mm White s/a Pearl Flatbacks, 3mm Sea Charm s/a Pearl Flatbacks, 6mm Hearts Ivory Silk Self Adhesive and 5m Bundle Natural Hemp Twine.


A few close up pictures.
I have used the seaweed die from Doohickey club vol 1 between the first flower arrangement and adhered 5mm white s/a pearls from my craft stash to the centre of the aqua rolled roses.
The tiny shells are what my super bloggy friend sent me. She collected them whilst on her holiday in Portugal. I adhered them onto a piece of cheesecloth.


To make up the beach huts I have used design paper and Doohickey large houses.
I adhered a heart to the each of the houses and adhered a 3mm sea charm pearl to each of the doors.
To make the banner I have used design paper and pennants from Doohickey Vol 1. I threaded natural hemp twine through the tops and adhered the banner to the frame with 2mm sticky pads.
The letters that I have cut out are from a sheet of  So Sophie alpha. I inked the edges of each letter with SSS Audrey blue premium ink.


A close look at Bikini Tilda.
I used Bead dazzle for the sand and surrounded the image with 3mm white s/a pearls.
I dotted Tilda's cheeks with a white gelly roll pen and adhered 3mm sea charm s/a pearls to the bunches in her hair.

Dainty Cake

Hello, lovely blogger friends.
I hope you are well.
I have a commissioned card to share made using lots of yummy products from

I used Dainty Cake available from Lili Of The Valley
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval die.
I have coloured the image wuth Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.


For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Graphic 45 Secret Garden papers.
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's decoration, La La Land hot air balloon, cherry blossom branches and heart doily border. Cherry Lynn French pastry doily.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.

45mm Eleanor white embroidered tukke lace, aqua daisy lacey edge ribbon, 10mm double row Ivory pearl trim, resin cameo roses flatback frame, Ivory resin dove, 3mm white s/a pearl flatbacks, sea charm s/a pearl flatbacks, chrysanth white Kort & Godt, blooms tiny Vintage aqua, princess pin aqua, oval clear diamante embellishment, pearl and rhinestone butterflies and 3mm x 5mm oval white pearl string.

I hand tied the bow and adhered the clear diamante oval to the centre.
I have painted the resin roses cameo frame with white Gesso and rubbed it over with SSS Audrey blue premium dye ink pad.
I have die cut the 40 using Memory Box classic numbers.
The gorgeous enchanted butterfly is from Live & Love Crafts I have also painted it with white Gesso, rubbed it with Audrey blue ink. and then I embellished it with pearls.

The rest of the flowers and princess pin are from The Ribbon Girl as listed above.


A close look at this elegant image.
I sprinkled Frantage shabby white embossing enamel around the image and added a few white liquid pearls here and there.
You can also see the gorgeous pearl and rhinestone butterflies which I really love to embellish my cards with these days.
I have adhered a 3mm sea charm s/a pearl to the bow in this sweet lady's hair and dotted her cheeks with a white Gelly roll pen.


Inside the card is decorated with Graphic 45 paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

Insta Tilda And A new Challenge At LHOSM

Hello, lovely blogger friends.
I hope you are well!?
Today sees the start of our new fortnightly challenge at Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia
This time our challenge theme is..................Favourite Colour Combo.

My favourite colour combo is blue and brown.

I used Insta Tilda from the WWW15 Collection.
The image is stamped onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval die.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Spellbinders opulent oval.


For my shaped card I used GoKreate XXL frilly frame #5 and Maja Design Vintage Baby papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Joy Crafts edge border #5, banner and Billes flourishes. La La Land hot air balloon, Marianne Design stitched circle and Magnolia Doohickey Sakura background.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
The Granddaughter letters I have cut out using a Pion design sheet and the Happy Birthday sentiment is Joy Crafts English banner text.

I adhered 3mm x 5mm oval white pearl string around the image.
I used glossy accents on the heart of the camera, but you can't see it very well!
Tilda's cheeks have been dotted with a white gelly roll pen.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

Sparkle Poinsettia Tilda And A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia

Hello. blogger friends.
I hope you are well?
Today sees our new fortnightly challenge at Simply Magnolia and this time our challenge them is;CHRISTMAS IN JULY.
My favourite theme.
Our wonderful sponsor for our challenge is Stamp & Create

I used Sparkle Poinsettia Tilda from the Waiting For Christmas 2014 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut ot using a CartUs oval die cut.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Joy Crafts Noor! oval


For my shaped card I used GoKreate XXL frilly frame #2 and Maja Design Coffee In The Arbour papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Joy Crafts edge border 5, winter sentiment and Billes flourishes. Marianne Design clock, Christmas tree 1 and Ivy circle, Cheery Lynn French pastry doily and Sizzix on the edge snow flurries.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz frayed burlap distress ink.
The gorgeous lace is called "Marie Therese" from Live & Love crafts


The flower arrangement consists of a red curly rose, white lilies and 20mm Ivory open roses from WOC.
The larch cone, white flower spray, beaded berry stamen and Vintage crystal star pin are from Live & Love Crafts
I have coated the arrangement with Snow - Tex.
Can you see my adorable cherub? I made her out of Martha Stewart crafter's clay using a silicone mould. I rubbed over her with frayed burlap distress ink.


I tied tiny jingle bells from WOC with natural twine from The Ribbon Girl to the tree.
The bark star and jingle bells are from Live & Love Crafts
Lots of Snow - Tex again! I love the stuff! I need some more.

I used Ranger gold liquid pearls on the poinsettia's and dotted Tilda's cheeks with a 
white gelly roll pen.

So Many Presents

Lazy Tilda And A New Challenge At LHOSM

Good afternoon, crafty blogger's.
I hope you are coping OK with the mini  heatwave here in the UK?
Temperatures reached 33 Degrees on Wednesday here in Derbyshire. I'm not one for hot weather. I prefer Spring and Autumn.
Today I'm here to share my DT creation for our fortnightly challenge at 
Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia
This time our challenge theme is; SUMMER FUN!
Our wonderful sponsor is Jules House Of Ribbons

I used Lazy Tilda from the new Sakura 2015 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Spellbinders opulent oval.



For my shaped card I used XXL frilly frame #5 and some papers from my crafty stash plus Maja Design Walking In The Forest papers. Other dies used are La La Land hot air balloon and cherry blossom branches. Magnolia Doohickey fruit tree and lovely fence. Cherry Lynn French pastry doily and Spellbinders shapeabilities butterfly. I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz frayed burlap distress ink.
The beautiful "Marie Therese" lace is from Live & Love Crafts


Only a small flower arrangement from me this time which consists of a 30mm dusky blue rose, a 20mm Ivory open rose and white beaded stamens from The Ribbon Girl 
The daffodils and 15mm green open rose are from WOC.


Here is a close look at the Doohickey fruit tree. It's the first time I have used this die and I love it!
I have built up the tree and apples to give a 3D effect with 1mm and 2mm sticky foam tape.
I used a Woodware tiny butterfly punch for the butterflies on the fence.


A close look at Lazy Tilda. This is me on a Summer's day. Lol!!!
I added ArtDeco glamour dust to the daffodils and butterfly and used glossy accents on the cloud and buttons on Tilda's dungarees.
I adhered 3mm white pearl string from The Ribbon Girl around the image.


I have decorate inside the card with paper from my stash and a Spellbinders floral oval.
