Celebration Tilda And A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia.

Hi, crafty bloggers.
I hope you are well?
Today we start our new fortnightly challenge at Simply Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is HEAVY METAL!
We would like to see metal on your cards/projects.
Instead of a sponsor for this fortnight, the prize will be a Guest DT spot for Simply Magnolia.

I have made a 70th Birthday card.

I used Celebration Tilda from the 4th Graduation 2015 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval and matted onto a Joy Crafts Noor! oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.

For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's vintage decoration and clock. La - La - Land heart doily border and cherry blossom branches. Cheery Lynn French pastry doily. Magnolia Doohickey bride bow and Joy Crafts Billes flourishes.
I inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz chipped sapphire distress ink.
The pretty lace is from ebay and the white pearl trim is from Wild Orchid Crafts

For my flower arrangement I used a 30mm dusky blue wild rose, 20mm white and dusky blue roses, Kort & Godt white crysanthemums and a blue princess pin all from The Ribbon Girl
The marshmallow frosted berries are from Live & Love Crafts
I painted a wooden birdcage with white Gesso and decorated it with a shabby bark heart, a 15mm dusky blue rose and 3mm white string pearls.
The bark heart is from Live & Love Crafts I used Memory Box classic numbers for the number 70.

The oval blue diamante embellishment and large silver butterfly charm are from
I painted the butterfly with white Gesso and rubbed it over with chipped sapphire distress ink.
I adhered 5mm and 3mm s/a blue and white pearls into the 5 spaces on the butterfly.

A close look at Celebration Tilda.
I have used glamour dust on the decoration in Tilda's hair and on the roses surrounding her.
The glass has been emelllished with glossy accents and I used gold liquid pearls for the bubbles.
I surrounded the image with 3mm white s/a pearls and white liquid pearls.
Tilda's cheeks have been dotted with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

We would love you to come and join in with our challenge.
My teamies have designed some gorgeous creations. Why not pop on over for a peek?

I hope you like my card!?

I am entering my card into the following super challenges;
