Sweet Tilda With Balloon And A New Challenge At LHOSM

Good afternoon. crafty blogger's.
Did you remember to put the clocks forward one hour!?
We have a new challenge starting today at Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is................USE A SENTIMENT
Our wonderful sponsor for our fortnightly challenge is lovely Mother and Daughter Mary and Andrea at The Ribbon Girl with a great prize of a £10 voucher for one lucky winner!
Please do not forget to use a Magnolia or Haenglar image when entering the challenge.

I have made a Birthday card.

I used Sweet Tilda With Balloon from the Animals Of The Year 2014 Collection. She was in my surprise package from Magnolia of Sweden.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Spellbinders floral oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.

For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics and Sofiero papers.
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's vintage decoration, La - La - Land heart doily border and cherry blossom branch. Cheery Lynn french pastry doily, Doohickey bride bow and Joy Crafts Billes flourishes.
I inked all the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.
The pretty lace and white pearl trim are from Wild Orchid Crafts

The shabby Chic frame is Mellissa Frances.
I lightly painted it with white Gesso and then I inked the decorative border with aged mahogany distress ink.
The sentiment is computer generated using MS Word.
The resin dove, heart button and twine are from The Ribbon Girl I have used Frantage shabby white embossing enamel on the dove and painted the button with white Gesso.
I used a selection of roses from Wild Orchid Crafts The white Kort & Godt chrysanthemums, white beaded stamen, white hat pins and butterfly charm are from The Ribbon Girl.
I painted the butterfly charm with white Gesso and aged mahogany distress ink.

Here is a closer look at the butterfly.
I used 3mm white s/a pearls in the 5 holes on the butterfly.

A close look at Tilda.
I used glossy accents on the balloon and adhered 3mm white pearls around the image.
I used a Inkssentials opaque white pen to dot Tilda's cheeks.

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

I hope you like what you see?

We would love you to come and join in with our fortnightly challenge.
My teamies have designed some beautiful creations. Why not pop on over for a peek?
