Pretty As A Princess At Simply Magnolia.

Good morning, crafty bloggers.
It's time for another super challenge at Simply Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is 
Pretty As A Princess
(Use a princess Tilda on your creation. One wearing a crown.)

I have made a shaped card.

I used Tilda With Corkscrews and Crown Kit from the Once Upon A Time 2013 Collection.
The images are stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Spellbinders floral oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils.





For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Sofiero papers.
I inked the papers with Tim Holtz spun sugar distress ink.
Other dies used are Marianne Design Creatable Anja's Vintage Decoration, Little Darlings lovely view, Magnolia Doohickey bloomy tag and Cheery Lynn pine branches.
I have inked all the dies with spun sugar distress ink.
The lace across the centre of the card is from ebay and the ivory organza rose trim is from 
The Ribbon Girl.


Here you can see the card with the tag out.
The sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley. I  added some Frantage shabby white embossing enamel onto the corners of the tag. The lace and string pearls that I have tied through the tag are from The Ribbon Girl.
I made the frame with Martha Stewart silicone mold and clay.
I adhered tiny pink rhinestones and 3mm white pearls onto the stamped crown.


I  sprinkled shabby white embossing enamel around the image and adhered 3mm white pearls to Tilda's crown.
I used a opaque white Inkssentials pen to dot Tilda's cheeeks.


The flowers and 5mm pink pearls are from The Ribbon Girl.
I Frantaged the daisies with Shabby pink embossing enamel.


Inside the card is decorated with Sofiero paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

Anything Goes At Marvelous Magnolia.

Good afternoon, crafty bloggers.
I hope you are well?
We have a new challenge starting today at Marvelous Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is
Anything Goes.
We want to see anything creative as long as it features a Magnolia image.

For  this challenge I have made a Joy Fold card using my favourite colour combo
Blue & Brown.

I used Tilda With Maggie The Monkey from Animals Of The Year 2014 Collection.
The stamp is from Sirstampalot. 
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Spellbinders stately circle. I have inked around the circle with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils.


The papers are Maja Design Vintage Spring basics. I have matted the papers onto Crafters Companion Kraft cardstock.
The dies that I have used are Little Darlings lovely view, La - La - Land filigree corner, Doohickey lovely fence and Memory Box Pippi butterfly.
I used Frantage shabby white embossing enamel on the butterfly and adhered a 5mm blue pearl to the centre.
I used tea dye distress ink on the cardstock, papers and dies.
The lace across the centre of the card is from ebay and the diamond lace along the bottom is from The Ribbon Girl.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and the blue beaded berries are Magnolia.
The 25mm satin ribbon and 5mm white pearls are  from The Ribbon Girl.


I sprinkled Frantage shabby white embossing enamel around the image and added 3mm white pearls.
I dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen and used Ranger white liquid pearls on Maggie's cheeks.

I have used CartUs circle dies to mat the sentiment on the right.

Guard Of The Castle Edwin.

Hello, crafty bloggers.
I hope you are well?
My hubby is celebrating his 50th Birthday next week and so I have made him a card.
He served as a Grenadier guard for 6 years in the 80's.
When I saw Melly's gorgeous card featuring Guard Of The Castle Edwin I had to buy him especially to go on my hubby's card.

I hope you like it?

I used Guard Of The Castle Edwin from The Little London 2013 Collection.
The stamp is from The Glitter Pot 
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Spellbinders floral oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils.
I inked around the edge of the oval with red ink and sprinkled Frantage shabby white embossing enamel around the image.



The papers are Docrafts Gorjuss by Santoro. I distressed red Woodware cardstock and matted the papers onto them.
The black & white striped buttons and ribbon are Docrafts Simply gorjuss.
The white mesh is what hubby picked up for me from our local haberdashery store and the wooden stars are from Live & Love Crafts.The sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley.
I die cut the number 50 using Memory Box classic numbers.

Mel inspired me with her texture colouring on Edwin's bearskin so I had a go using my pencils.

I have adhered 3mm white pearls around the image.

Man's Best Friend.

Hello, crafty bloggers.

My Mum asked me to make a card for my hubby who will be 50 next week.
I found a fab sketch on Lili Of The Valley's blog and pieced this card together in no time at all.

I used Man's best Friend from Art Pad 1 Vintage Boys and cut out the image using CartUs circle and Spellbinders stately circle dies.
I inked around the image with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.


The papers are Pressed In Time paper pad. I have lightly sanded the papers.
The Happy Birthday sentiment stamp is general greetings small.
The white mesh across the card is what my hubby picked up for me from our local market.
The wooden stars are from Live & Love Crafts and the 3mm white pearls are from Sirstampalot.
The 50 is cut with Memory Box classic numbers and inked with tea dye distress ink.

Here is the sketch.




I added some Frantage shabby white embossing enamel around the sides of the image and  used Polychromos pencils to draw and colour the grass.


Inside the card is decorated to compliment the front.

Anything But A Card At Simply Magnolia.

Good afternoon, crafty bloggers.
It time for another super challenge at Simply Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is;

I have made a door hanger.

I have used Tilda With Dexter The Dragon from the new Animal Of The Year Collection.
I love these two.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Spellbinders stately circle. I have inked around the circle with Tim Holtz spun sugar distress ink
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils.


For my door hanger I have used Crafters Companion Kraft cardstock, Magnolia "Pink Magic Bubbles" paper and Frantage shabby white embossing enamel.
Other dies used are Memory Box Isabella butterfly and cheery lynn pine branches.
I used Magnolia paper to cut the butterflies and adhered tiny pink rhinestones along their centres .
The 3mm and 5mm white pearls are from Sirstampalot.
The lace is from my local haberdashery store. The rose organza, Lucy white fine vintage style cluny lace that I have used to tie the bow, and string pearls and 5mm pink pearls are from The Ribbon Girl.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Punches At Marvelous Magnolia.

Here is my DT card.

I have used Harriet The Turtle from The Sea Breeze 2013 Collection masked with rose packages from The Lost & Found 2014 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out with a Spellbinders labels one.
I have coloured the images with Prismacolor pencils.



For my shaped card I have used GoKreate large frames frilly #2 and Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics papers.
I inked the edges of the papers with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
Other dies used are Doohickey dragonflies and Sizzix Susan's Garden Dogwood flowers.
The punches I used are Martha Stewart daisy edger punch and woodland branches.
The lace and doily are from Ebay and the white shabby seam binding is from Live & Love Crafts.
The pale blue rose, 3mm and 5mm tan pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The wooden heart button and hemp twine are from The Ribbon Girl.


I have inked the edges of the Dogwood flowers and leaves with tea dye distress ink and adhered 3mm tan pearls to the centres.

Tilda With Fantasy Flower.

Good evening, crafty bloggers.
I hope you are well?
It's a glorious day here in Derbyshire. 
I am here to share my latest card. I just love pink & purple. The colours look swell together.


I used Tilda With Fantasy Flower from the Lost & Found 2014 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink on Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Spellbinders stately circle.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils.


For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Sofiero papers.
Other dies used are Cheery Lynn pine branches, nautical wheeler doily, Magnolia Doohickey lovely fence and bloomy tag.
The dies and papers are inked with Tim Holtz spun sugar distress ink.
The lace across the centre is from Ebay. The ivory rose organza trim, 5mm pink pearls, string pearls and lace tied through the tags are from The Ribbon Girl.


The flowers and white stamens are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The woodland branches are a Martha Stewart punch.


I have made the butterflies with Martha Stewart clay and silicone moulds.
I have added ArtDeco glamour dust to the smaller butterfly.


I surrounded Tilda with shabby white embossing enamel and added Ranger white liquid pearls on the flowers.
I dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.


Inside the card is decorated with Sofiero paper and a Spellbinders stately circle.

Pin Up At Simply Magnolia.

Good morning, crafty blogger's.
I am here today with my DT creation for Simply Magnolia. 
Our challenge theme for the next two weeks is Pin Up.
(Use decorative pins on your cards/projects.)

I have decorated another recycled notebook.
This one is for a very special friend. I posted it off to her on Friday so I am hoping she has received it before she see's my post.


I have die cut a Spellbinders stately circle with Neenah cardstock and stamped Virgo Tilda from the Zodiac 2014 Collection onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have coloured Virgo Tilda with Prismacolor pencils and inked around the stately circle with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
I have sprinked Frantage shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts around the image
and positioned it onto a Cheery Lynn nautical wheeler doily and placed some cheese cloth behind it.

I bought the recycled notebook from my local Wilkinson store.
I have painted white Gesso around the edge of the book and matted Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics 3rd and 4th of April from Live & Love Crafts onto 300gsm white Conqueror card.
I inked the edges of the white card with tea dye distress ink and disressed the design papers with a Tim Holtz paper distresser.
The doily is from Ebay and the pretty lace across the centre of the bottom panel is from my local haberdashery store.
The 15mm white diamond Guipure lace is from The Ribbon Girl. 
The metal filigree corner is from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have frantaged it with shabby white embossing enamel.
The Ivory 5mm pearls are from The Ribbon Girl. 
The vintage wood birdcage is from Live & Love Crafts. I have Frantaged it with shabby white embossing enamel.
The Ivory resin dove is from The Ribbon Girl. I have painted white Gesso onto the dove.
I have tied a bow onto the birdcage with handmade sky blue shabby seam binding from Live & Love Crafts and have also tied the binding to the spine of the book.
The lace that I have tied to the spine is from my local haberdashery store.
I have cot out the letters to spell Virgo with Pion Design Grandmas Schoolbook and inked the edges of the letters with tea dye distress ink.
The metal dragonfly charm is from craft stash. I have frantaged the dragonfly with shabby white embossing enamel and adhered a 3mm white pearl to the top.



The flowers consist of 30mm Ivory wild roses,20mm pale blue roses, a 20mm white rose and white lilies all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Kort & Godt white chrysanthemum and white beaded stamens from The Ribbon Girl. 
The vintage crown sphere pins are from Live & Love Crafts. 
The white tassel is from my local haberdashery store.
