Vintage Bridal Couple.

Hello, crafty blogger's.
I have a commissioned card to share featuring Magnolia Vintage Bridal Couple from the 2013 Special Moments Collection for a couple celebrating 50 golden years of marriage.
How wonderful is that?
I have made a square card for a change. Lol!!!


I cut a rectangle of Neenah cardstock and stamped Vintage Bridal Couple onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.
I have rounded the corners at the top and sprinkled Frantage shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts around the image.
I inked around the edges of the card with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.

I made the card base with 300gsm white Conqueror card and inked the edges with tea dye distress ink.
The papers are Maja design Sofiero "Princess Margareta's Garden" from Dies To Die For and I have distressed them with a Tim Holtz paper distresser..
The white doily and pretty lace are from Ebay. You can find the lace HERE. 
I have sdhered 3mm white pearls to the doily and 5mm white pearls to the top right of the card.
The butterflies are Memory Box Pippi. I have frantaged them with shabby white embossing enamel and coloured the centres with a yellow Promarker.
The vintage filigree corner and large bark heart are from Live & Love Crafts. I adhered a single 3mm white pearl on to the filigree corner. The number 50 is Memory Box classic numbers.
I Frantaged the number 50 with shabby white embossing enamel.
I computer generated the sentiment in word using Harrington Font 16 and inked the edges with tea dye distress ink. I adhered 3mm white pearls along the sentiment.


The flower arrangement consists of a 30mm two tone yellow tea rose, 25mm ivory roses and 10mm yellow roses all from Wild Orchid Crafts. 
Kort & Godt white chrysanthemums and marshmallow frosted berries from Live & Love Crafts. 
For the foliage I have used Cheery Lynn pine branches and Martha Stewart woodland branches.
I inked the branches with tea dye distress ink.


Here is a close up of Tilda and Edwin.
I added ArtDeco glamour dust to Tilda's tiara and  used Ranger white liquid pearls among the lilies.
I dotted Tilda and Edwins cheeks with a Inkssential opaque white pen.


Inside the card is decorated with Sofiero paper and a Spellbinders decorative labels one.

New Challenge At Simply Magnolia - Gorgeous Blooms.

Good afternoon, crafty blogger's.
Happy Easter to you all!

I have made a shaped card featuring Unsunny Sky Tilda from the Sea Breeze 2013 Collection.


I have die cut a Spellbinders opulent oval with Neenah cardstock and stamped Unsunny Sky Tilda onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have coloured Tilda with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.
I have inked around the edges of the oval with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
For the shaped card I have used 300gsm white Conqueror card and GoKreate large frames frilly#2 from Cuttingedgecrafts. 
The pretty papers are Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics from Live & Love Crafts. 
The white doily is from Ebay. I have adhered 3mm white pearls onto the doily.
I placed some cheese cloth behind a Cheery Lynn nautical doily. I have inked around the doily with tea dye distress ink.
My super bloggy friend sent me some Doohickey lovely umbrella die cuts.
I have inked the edges of the umbrella with tea dye distress ink and tied a piece of white shabby seam binding from Live & Love Crafts through the eyelet at the top into a bow.
I have adhered a pink 5mm pearl to the centre of the bow.
The butterflies are Memory Box Pippi. I have frantaged them with shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts I coloured the centres with a raspberry Prismacolor pencil and adhered 3 3mm white pearls to each of them.
The everyday grungy messages sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley. 
I inked the edges of the sentiment with tea dye distress ink and adhered 3 3mm white pearls along the top.


For the gorgeous blooms I have used pink Prima roses. 25mm ivory rose and 15mm white roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. Kort & Godt chrysanthemums and frosted marshmallow berries from 
For the foliage I have used Cheery Lynn pine branches and Martha Stewart woodland branches.
I have inked the edges of the branches with tea dye distress ink.


I have surrounded Unsunny Sky Tilda with shabby white embossing enamel and added ArtDeco glamour dust to the rain droplets.
I dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.


Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders opulent oval.

New Challenge At Marvelous Magnolia - Anything Goes.

Good afternoon, crafty blogger's.
I hope you are well?
This post is scheduled as I will be enjoying a break away with my Hubby.

It's time for a new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is 
Anything Goes.

I have made a pocket tag featuring For You Tilda from The Lost & Found Collection 2014.
The fabulous tutorial is in Magnolia Ink N0 1 2014.



I die cut a CArt Us large circle with Neenah cardstock and stamped  For You Tilda onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have sprinkled Frantage shabby white embossing enamel around the image and inked the edges with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
I have coloured Tilda with Prisma color and Polychromos pencils.
I die cut a piece of white card and design paper with a Sizzix scalloped circle and adhered the paper to the card and placed the image onto it.

The Pocket.

I made the pocket with Crafters Companion Kraft cardstock. I applied white Gesso around the pocket  and sprinkled Frantage shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love crafts around the top.
The papers are Maja Design Vintage Summer basics from Live & Love Crafts. 
I have inked around the edge of the papers with tea dye distress ink and distressed them with a Tim Holtz Tonic Studios paper distresser.
The pretty lace is from Ebay. You can find the lace HERE. 
The rose organza trim along the top is from The Ribbon Girl. 
The butterflies are Memory Box Isabella. I die cut them with Vintage Summer Basics paper and inked the edges with Tea dye distress ink. I adhered 3mm white pearls to their centres and wings.
The flower arrangement consists of a 30mm Ivory rose, 20mm blue roses, 15mm brown roses and marshmallow frosted berries.
All the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the frosted berries are from Live & Love Crafts. 
For the foliage I used 300gsm white Conqueror card to die cut Cheery Lynn pine branches and inked the edges with tea dye distress ink.
I painted some Gesso onto the wooden heart button and tied the bow with hemp twine.
The wooden button and twine are from The Ribbon Girl. 
The For You sentiment is a Papermania occasions sentiment. 
I inked the edges of the sentiment with tea dye distress ink.
I tied a piece of sky blue shabby seam binding from Live & Love Crafts through the punched holes at the top and tied it into a bow.


Here is a picture of the pocket with the tag removed from inside.


I made the tag with Kraft cardstock and layered it with the design paper.
I added some white 300gsm Conqueror card and threaded a loop of satin ribbon to pull out the tag from inside the pocket.

Here is a close up of adorable  For You Tilda.


I have added Ranger white liquid pearls on and around the bouquet and dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.
I adhered 3 5mm white pearls to the side of the image.

New Challenge At Simply Magnolia - Easter Goodness!!!

Good afternoon, crafty blogger's.
We have a new challenge starting today at Simply Magnolia and this time our 
challenge theme is Easter Goodness!!!
We would like you to use anything related to Easter, rabbit, chicks, Easter eggs etc...
Oh, and please do not forget a Magnolia image.

For our challenge I have made a shaped card featuring Tilda With Mr Rooster from The Little Easter Collection 2013 and I have made a Easter basket full of yummy chocolate eggs.
I have taken quite a few pictures so the first one is the card and basket.

Here's How I made the card.

I have die cut a Spellbinders floral oval with Neenah cardstock and stamped Tilda with Mr Rooster onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts. 
I have inked around the floral oval with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.

For the shaped card I have used 300gsm white Conqueror card and GoKreate large frames frilly#2 from Cuttingedgecrafts. 
The pretty papers are Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics from Dies To Die For. 
I have inked around the edges of the papers with tea dye distress ink.
The white doily and lace are both from Ebay. You can find the pretty lace HERE.
I have placed some cheese cloth onto the centre of the card and adhered the image on top with 2mm sticky pads.
I have tied the bow with 25mm light blue organza ribbon and adhered a flower shaped flat backed pearl from The Ribbon Girl to the centre.
The dragonflies are Magnolia Doohickey. I have die cut them with Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics paper from Live & Love Crafts and inked their edges with tea dye distress ink placing white 5mm pearls along the centre of the larger dragonfly and 3mm white pearls along the centre of the smaller dragonfly.
The fence is Magnolia Doohickey lovely fence. I have inked the edges with tea dye distress ink and adhered it to the card with 2mm sticky pads.

The flower arrangement.

For the flower arrangement I have used a 25mm ivory wild rose, 20mm baby blue roses and 15mm brown roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Kort & Godt white chrysanthemums and marshmallow frosted berries from Live & Love Crafts. 
For the foliage I have die cut Cheery Lynn pine branches, inked the edges with tea dye distress ink and placed them between the flowers.
Can you see the Easter bunny charm on the flower arrangement?
The Easter bunny charm is from Live & Love Crafts. 
I have tied a bow with hemp twine through the eyelet at the top of the bunny.

I have added Ranger white liquid pearls onto Tilda's bow in her hair and dotted her cheeks with Inkssentials opaque white pen..

Inside the card is decorated with The papers and a Spellbinders floral oval.

I have made the Easter basket with Woodware recycled card and inked  all  the edges with tea dye distress ink.
The materials are the same as what I have used on my card apart from the Martha Stewart woodland branches among the flowers.
I inked the branches with tea dye distress ink.

New Challenge At Marvelous Magnolia - Ribbon Or Bow.

I have made a shaped card featuring Tilda With Fantasy Flower from the Lost & Found Collection 2014.



I have die cut a cArt-us large circle with Neenah cardstock and stamped Tilda With Fantasy Flower onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.
I inked around the circle with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink and sprinkled Frantage shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts around the image.
I have cut a Sizzix scalloped circle with Maja Design Vintage Spring basics from Dies To Die For and matted the image onto it.

I have made the shaped card with 300gsm white Conqueror card and Go Kreate large frame frilly #2.
The papers are Maja Design Vintage Spring basics.
The white doily is from Ebay and the pretty lace is from my local craft store.
I have adhered 3mm white pearls onto the doily.
I have die cut a Cheery Lynn nautical doily die and inked the edges with tea dye distress ink and adhered it to the centre of the card. I placed some cheese cloth on top of the doily and adhered the image to the centre with Woodware 2mm double sided sticky tape.
I have cut Magnolia Doohickey dragonflies with Vintage Spring Basics paper and inked the edges of them with tea dye distress ink placing a row of 5mm white pearls down the centre of the large dragonfly and 3mm white pearls down the centres of the small dragonflies.
the resin owl is from Hobby Craft and the white metal corner is from Live & Love Crafts. 
I have tied a double bow with white shabby seam binding also from Live & Love Crafts and placed a green 15mm rose in the centre.
The arrangement of flowers consists of  a 30mm wild ivory rose, 25mm wild ivory roses, 15mm green roses and 15mm brown roses. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. 
I placed a 5mm white pearl in the centre of each of the 25mm wild roses.
For the foliage I have die cut a couple of Cheery Lynn pine branches and inked them with tea dye distress ink.

I have added Ranger white liquid pearls to the flowers and dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.
I just loved colouring her.


I have decorated inside the card with Vintage Spring Basics paper and a cArt-us large circle which I matted onto a Sizzix scalloped circle with the design paper.



I gave this card to my beautiful Mum for Mother's day and she loved it.

New Challenge At Simply Magnolia - Bingo.

Good afternoon, crafty blogger's.
We have a new challenge starting today at Simply Magnolia and this time it's
Bingo.

Here is the bingo board.



The board has rows of embellishments.
You must use items on your cards from one of these lines;
horizontal, vertical or diagonal. It must be three in a row.
If you are like me and love to add lots of embellishments to your cards you can go for a full house and use all of the embellishments on the board.

I have made a Spring time shaped card featuring Tilda With Daffodil Basket from The Little Easter Collection 2013 and I have gone for a full house.


I have die cut a Spellbinders opulent oval with Neenah cardstock and stamped Tilda With Daffodil Basket onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have coloured the image with Prismcolor and Polychromos pencils and inked the edges of the oval with Tim Holtz spun sugar distress ink.
I have surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel from
For the shaped card I have used 300gsm white Conqueror card and GoKreate large frames frilly #2 fromCuttingedgecrafts. 
The pretty papers are Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics from Live & Love Crafts. 
The white doily and lovely lace are from Ebay. You can find the lace HERE. 
I have adhered white 3mm pearls onto the doily and placed some pink organza ribbon behind the lace.
I have die cut a Cheery Lynn nautical wheeler doily and inked around the edges with spun sugar distress ink adhering the doily to the centre of the card and placed some cheese cloth on top before adhering the image to the centre with double sided sticky pads.
The fence is Doohickey lovely fence. I have inked around the fence with spun sugar distress ink and used my Woodware small butterfly punch and design paper to punch out the butterfly and adhered it to the fence.
The dragonflies are Magnolia Dookickey. I inked the edges and placed three clear rhinestones down their centres.


I have made the flower with 3 2" paper hydrangea blooms and inked the edges with spun sugar distress ink placing a pink brad through the centre.
I attached a length of 2mm silver plated curb chain to a silver plated split ring and attached it to the back of the brad. I placed another split ring through the bee charm and onto the chain.
The hydrangea blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the bee charm is from The Ribbon Girl. 
I bought the chain and split rings from Ebay.



For the flower arrangement I have used blue Kort & Godt rolled roses, Kort & Godt chrysanthemums, beaded swirls and 20mm pink roses all from The Ribbon Girl. 
A 30mm ivory wild rose and 10mm white roses both from Wild Orchid Crafts. 
I placed a 5mm pink pearl to the centre of each of the rolled roses.
The wooden heart button and hemp twine are from The Ribbon Girl. 
In between the flower arrangement I have put some Cheery Lynn pine branches and some Martha Stewart woodland branches.
I inked the edges of the branches with spun sugar distress ink.

I dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen and added Ranger white liquid pearls among the daffodils.


Inside the card is decorated with the design paper and a Spellbinders opulent oval.

For my DT card I have made a shaped card featuring Special Stamps Collection Koala Hugs Tilda and have used a Cheery Lynn Nautical Wheeler doily die cut on the card for this challenge.



I have used Neenah cardstock to cut a Spellbinders floral oval and stamped Koala Hugs Tilda onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and surrounded the image with a sprinkling of Frantage shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts. 
I inked around the edges of the floral oval with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.

I have made the shaped card with 300gsm white Conqueror card and GoKreate large frames frilly #2 from Cuttingedgecrafts. 
The pretty papers are Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics from Live & Love Crafts. 
I inked the edges of the Doohickey Vintage Box Lacing Coffee and adhered it to the bottom of the design paper.
The doily is Cheery Lynn Nautical Wheeler doily. I bought the doily with a voucher I won to spend at Tilda's Town. I inked around the doily with tea dye distress ink. The pretty lace is from Ebay. You can find the lace HERE. 
The filigree corner is La-La-Land and the dragonfly is Doohickey. I have inked both with tea dye distress ink and adhered 3mm white pearls down the centre of the dragonfly.
I have made a double bow with sky blue handmade shabby seam binding from Live & Love crafts and adhered a flower shaped pearl to the centre.
The 60mm bark heart is from Live & Love Crafts and the Lilibet wooden hugs sentiment is from Hobby Craft. 


The flower arrangement consists of a 30mm ivory wild rose, 15mm tan roses and 10mm white roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. 
White chrysanthemums and marshmallow frosted berries from Live & Love crafts and blue Kort & Godt rolled roses, white beaded twirls and the birdcage charm all from The Ribbon Girl. 
I have placed Cheery Lynn pine branches, Martha Stewart woodland branches and a Doohickey Heart swirl between the flowers. I inked the branches with tea dye distress ink.

I added Ranger glossy accents to koala's nose and dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen. I have also placed 3mm tan pearls around the image.


Inside the card is decorated with Maja Design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.
