Hello, Lovely blogger friends.

It's the last Sunday of the month which means It's time for the September Magnolia only challenge over on The Ribbon Girl challenge blog and this time the theme is BUTTON UP!
We want to see a button/buttons on your Magnolia cards/projects.
I have altered a tissue box which I must warn you is picture heavy Lol!!!

I used Hear No Evil Tilda from the Pink Ribbon 2014 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a Joy Crafts Noor Design oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.

The papier mache box is one I bought from Hobbycraft.
The papers that I used to decorate the box are Maja Design Coffee In The Arbour from
Here is a list of the gorgeous embellishments that I used to decorate my box available from
 The Ribbon Girl online store.
30mm White Zig Zag Cotton Lace, 12mm Milly Pale Pink Daisy Guipure, 5 Metres Siam Pink Seam Binding, 40mm Daisy pale Pink, Pale Pnk 20mm Open Roses WOC, Ivory 20mm Open Roses WOC, Lily Flowers Small Pale Pink, Wooden Heart Buttons, Butterflies Silver Colour Pk Of 5, 3mm White Pearl Bead String and 3mm Sugar & Spice s/a Pearl Flatbacks.

Here is an angled photo of the tissue box.
Both sides are decorated the same.

The dies that I used for the sides of the box are Cheery Lynn French pastry doily, La La Land filigree corners, CartUs circles and Spellbinders Shapeabilities butterfly.
I inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.
I used Frantage shabby white embossing enamel on the die cut circle and adhered the 3mm white pearl string around the outside.
To decorate the butterfly I painted a wooden heart button with white Gesso and adhered one of the daisies from the length of Milly Guipure trim to the centre of it.
I adhered a pink s/a pearl to each of the filigree corners.

A close up of the butterfly.

A close look at the top of the tissue box with the flower arrangements.
I die cut a Spellbinders stately circle and adhered a length Milly Guipure trim around the opening circle.

The birdcage is also painted with white Gesso. I tied Siam pink seam binding into a bow and adhered a wooden heart button with 3mm pink s/a pearls to the centre.
The tiny pink butterfly is punched out with a Woodware punch.

Loving Bridal Couple And A New Challenge At Simply Magnolia

Hello, lovely blogger friend's.
I hope you are well.
Our new fortnightly challenge at Simply Magnolia begins today and this time around our challenge theme is VINTAGE
Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is the lovely Sandy from Live & Love Crafts with a £10 voucher for one lucky winner to spend in Sandy's gorgeous online store.

I have made a commissioned card.
Another Wedding card featuring Loving Bridal Couple again!
This card took me over a week to make due to the fact that I have been suffering with a very painful ear infection of which I am still taking antibiotics. I have felt so lousy. My pain threshold is very high, but this pain has really got me down. I am getting better and starting to feel my normal self again!
Anyway...............On to my card.

I used Loving Bridal couple from the Wedding Collection 2010.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval die.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Joy Crafts Noor! oval.

For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Coffee In The Arbour papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration and clock. Spellbinders lace hearts, Cheery Lynn French pastry doily, La La Land cherry blossom branches, Joy Crafts banner and Billes flourishes. I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.
The congratulations sentiment is Joy Crafts best wishes English banner text.
You can find the banner and text sentiments at Tracy's Noor UK online store HERE
I used some gorgeous embellishments on my card from The Ribbon Girl online store.
They are 65mm Louise white Guipure lace, 30mm shabby white ruffled ribbon, 5mm crystal bead string, Pk of 5 white hat pins, 3mm x 5mm oval white pearl string, 3mm white pearl bead string, 6mm hearts Ivory silk self adhesive, 3mm white s/a pearl flatbacks, 40mm daisy white mulberry Pk of 5, pale pink 20mm open roses WOC, Ivory 20mm rose WOC and small white lilies.

The large bark heart, shabby white Liberty bells and letters that I have cut from a sheet of Pion studio of memories paper are from Live & Love Crafts
I painted the bark heart and bells with white Gesso and inked the letters with aged mahogany distress ink.

A close look at the flower arrangement.
I used Frantage shabby pink embossing enamel on the 40mm daisies.
The pink poppies and vanilla cupcake pomegranate apples are from Live & Love Crafts

The wooden dove is from The Works.
I painted the dove with white Gesso and sprinkled glamour dust onto it while the paint was still wet.
Lovely and sparkly.

A close look at Tilda and Edwin.
I surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and adhered the 3mm white pearl string around the outside of the image.
I randomly adhered the 3mm white s/a pearl flatbacks and used Ranger white liquid pearls on Tilda's bouquet and flowers in her hair.
I dotted Tilda and Edwins cheeks with a white gelly roll pen.

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

I hope you like my card?
