Vintage Bridal Couple And The Ribbon Girl Magnolia Only Challenge - Add Lace

Hello, lovely blogger friends.
I hope you are well.
It's time for the August Magnolia Only challenge over on The Ribbon Girl challenge blog and this time we want to see LACE on your cards/projects.
I have made a 40th Anniversary card.

I used Vintage Bridal Couple from The Special Moments 2013 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUs oval.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and matted the image onto a Joy Crafts Noor! Design oval.

For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration and clock. Spellbinders lace hearts, Memory Box classic numbers, Joy Crafts lattice heart and Billes flourishes.
I have inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz aged mahogany distress ink.

Here is a list of all the beautiful embellishments available from The Ribbon Girl online store that I have used on my card.
65mm Louise White Guipure Lace, 10mm Double Row Ivory Pearl Trim, 25mm Sable Satin Berisford N0 83 Ribbon, 3mm White Pearl String, Butterfly Large Silver Colour Charm, 20mm Pearl & Diamante Flower Embellishment, Brown 2 Tone 30mm Wild Roses, Ivory 20mm Open Roses WOC, Bark Hearts, Small Pack Of 5 and 3mm White s/a Pearl Flatbacks.

Here is a few close up pictures of the embellishments used.I have painted the bark heart with white Gesso and ahered the 40 to the centre with 3D sticky pads.
One of many gorgeous diamante embellishments adhered to the centre of the bow. The beautiful butterfly charm that I have first painted with white Gesso and then rubbed over with aged mahogany distress ink.
These butterfly charms have 5 spaces where you can adhere pearls/gems of your choice. I choose to use 3mm white s/a pearls. They are the perfect size to fit into the spaces.

A close look at Vintage Bridal Couple.
I have surrounded the image with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel and a length of 3mm white pearl string.
I used glamour dust on the tiara in Tilda's hair and added Ranger white liquid pearls to the lilies.
I also gave Tilda some earings using 3mm dark red s/a pearls from WOC

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.

I hope I have inspired you to come and join in with our Magnolia Only challenge.
There are 2 fabulous prizes up for grabs

The first is a £10 voucher to spend in The Ribbon Girl online store and the second prize is a rubber stamp kindly donated by Magnolia Stamps Sweden
