Baby Edwin and A New Challenge At LHOSM

Hello again, crafty blogger's.
I say again as this is my second post today. If you would like to see my first post as guest designer forThe Ribbon Girl then just click HERE
Today we start our new fortnightly challenge at Lovely Haenglar Or Sweet Magnolia and this time our challenge theme is.................SPARKLE
Instead of a sponsor for this fortnight, the prize will be Guest DT spot for LHOSM.

I have made a Birthday card for a baby.

I used Baby Edwin from the Prince & Princesses 2012 Collection.
The image is stamped with Memento rich cocoa ink onto Neenah cardstock and cut out using a CartUS circle and then matted onto a Cheery Lynn French Pastry doily using Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics paper.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.

For my shaped card I used GoKreate large frame frilly #2 and Maja Design Vintage Spring basics papers from Live & Love Crafts
Other dies used are Marianne Design Anja's Vintage decoration and clock. La - La - Land heart doily border and cherry blossom branches. Cheery Lynn French pastry doily and choo choo train. Rocking horse from magnolia Doohickey club Christmas Vol 2 and Joy Crafts Billes flourishes.
I inked the die cuts with Tim Holtz chipped Sapphire distress ink.
The pretty lace is from ebay.

I used a selection of roses and a white pearl loop spray stem from Wild Orchid Crafts
The white Kort & Godt chrysanthemums and star pins are from The Ribbon Girl
The bark star is from Live & Love Crafts I painted the star with white Gesso and adhered the metal soother charm to the centre.
The sentiment is everyday grungy from Lili Of The Valley. I coloured the balloons and added glossy accents to them.

A close look at Baby Edwin.
I surrounded the image with 3mm white s/a pearls and used ArtDeco glamour dust to Edwin's crown and the stars.

Inside the card is decorated with design paper and a Spellbinders stately circle.

I hope you like what you see?

We would love you to come and join in with our fortnightly challenge.
My teamies have designed some gorgeous creations. Why not pop over for a peek?

I am entering my card into the following super challenges;

Than you for stopping by to visit and big thanks for all the lovely comments.
