New Challenge at Simply Magnolia............Birthday Wishes.

Good morning, crafty blogger's.
I am so excited to be here today as I have been selected as new DT member for Simply Magnolia.
Thank you so much Tracy!
I am so happy to be joining Tracy and the other talented DT ladies.
We have a new challenge starting today and the theme is Birthday Wishes.
We want to see a Birthday sentiment on your cards/projects.
I have made a shaped card featuring Magnolia Flower Tilda from the 2013 Little London Collection.

I have die cut a Spellbinders floral oval with Nennah cardstock and stamped Magnolia Flower Tilda onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have coloured Tilda with Prismacolour and Polychromos pencils and inked around the edges of the floral oval with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
I surrounded Tilda with Frantage shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts.

I have made the shaped card with 300gsm white Conqueror card and Lifestyle Quickutz
nesting frame #10.
The pretty papers are Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics from Live & Love Crafts I have inked around the edges with tea dye distress ink.
The white doily and pretty lace are from Ebay. You can find the lace HERE.
I have adhered 3mm white pearls on the doily.
I have  placed some cheese cloth behind the floral oval before adhering it to the centre with sticky pads.
I have inked the edges of the Magnolia Doohickey lovely fence and slender firs.
I have used Maja Design paper and  a Woodware punch to punch the tiny butterflies.
The Birthday sentiment is one of the every day grungy messages from Lily Of The Valley.
I have inked the edges of the sentiment with tea dye distress ink.

For the flower arrangement I have used a 30mm ivory wild rose and 10mm cream roses from
Kort & Godt cream rolled roses. Kort & Godt chrysanthemums and marshmallow frosted berries all from Live & Love Crafts.
For the foliage I have die Cheery Lynn pine branches and punched Martha Stewart woodland branches. I have inked the edges with tea dye distress ink.
I made the bow with 15mm aqua satin edged ribbon from my craft stash.

A close up of Magnolia Flower Tilda.
I have adhered a few 3mm white pearls around Tilda.
I have added ArtDeco glamour dust to the bow in Tilda's hair and the frill on her dress.
I have dotted her cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.

Inside the card is decorated with Maja Design paper and a Spellbinders floral oval.
