Good afternoon, crafty bloggers.
I am so thrilled to have been selected as new DT member at Marvelous Magnolia.
Thank you Rina!
Our challenge this time is Seeing Red. We want to see red on your cards/projects.
Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is...............
Here is my first DT card.
I have made the shaped card with 300gsm white Conqueror card and GoKreate large frames frilly #2 .The frames are from Cuttingedgecrafts.
The pretty papers are Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics from Live & Love Crafts.
The white doily and lovely lace is from Ebay. You can find the lace HERE.
I have cut a Cheery Lynn nautical wheeler doily, inked around the edges and adhered it to the centre of the card.
I have used Neenah cardstock to cut a Spellbinders opulent oval and stamped Tilda In Evening Dress from the Little Circus Moscow Collection 2013 onto it with Memento rich cocoa ink.
I have inked the edges of the opulent oval with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
I have coloured the image with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils and adhered it to the centre of the card with sticky pads.
The butterflies are Memory Box Pippi. I have frantaged them with shabby white embossing enamel from Live & Love Crafts and coloured their centres with a red Promarker.
I placed 3mm red pearls along the centres too.
The resin dove is from Hobbycraft and the filigree corner is La-La-Land. I have inked the edges of the corner and placed a 3mm red pearl onto it.
The Doohickey bloomy tag was a surprise Christmas gift from my super bloggy friend
Here is the card with the tag removed.
I have inked around the edges of the tag with tea dye distress ink and frantaged around the sentiment with shabby white embossing enamel. I have tied the bow with white shabby seam binding from
The sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley.
I have placed another filigree corner behind the tag.
A close of of the flower arrangement.
I have used white Kort & Godt chrysanthemums, rolled roses and frosted berries all from
A 25mm wild ivory rose from Wild Orchid Crafts.
For the foliage I have used Cheery Lynn pine branches and Martha Stewart woodland branches.
I have inked the edges of the branches with tea dye distress ink.
A close up of Tilda In Evening Dress.
I have surrounded the image with shabby white embossing enamel and 2mm white pearls.
I have dotted Tilda's cheeks with a Inkssentials opaque white pen.
Inside the card is decorated with Maja Design paper and a opulent oval.
The challenges are now two weekly and we would love you to come and join in with us.
My teamies have designed some gorgeous creations, so why not pop on over to have a look?
